To help teachers create more engaging and personalized learning experiences, eKadence now supports custom styling for text. This feature allows educators to go beyond basic formatting options and apply their own design preferences, such as unique fonts, colors, spacing, and more. Whether you want to highlight important information, match your school's branding, or simply enhance readability, Custom Text Styles gives you greater control over how your content appears to students.
This guide will walk you through how to create and apply Custom Text Styles in eKadence.
Step 1: Navigate to the Custom Text Styles Section
In the top-right corner of your screen, click your profile picture.
Select “My Profile” from the dropdown menu.
On the left-hand menu, find the “My Account” section.

Preformatted text
For each, you can:

Reset styles using the brush icon in the top-right of each box
When finished, scroll down and click “Save”.
Step 3: Apply Your Custom Text Style to a Class
Navigate to the “Class Setup” page of the class where you want to apply the style.
Scroll down to the “Features” section.
Find “Custom Text Styles” and click the “Select” dropdown.
Choose the Custom Text Style you just created.
Review the preview to confirm the correct format is selected.
Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen to apply the style.
Once applied, your chosen text styles will appear throughout your class content, helping you deliver a more customized and visually consistent experience for your students.
