How to access Student Grades

Teachers are able to view students' grades either on the Gradebook page or individually.

  1. To view student grades, the teacher must be in a class and then be on the Gradebook page.
  2. To then view a student's grades, click on a student's name from the roster in the Gradebook.

Teachers can also access student grades by clicking on the Students page and then clicking on a student's name. After that, click on classes.

Using the Student Grades page

Teachers can see the different grade displays on this page. The top row of the display shows the student's Overall Grade, Grade Breakdown, and Grading Statuses.

  • Overall Grade - Shows student's cumulative grade from the class (Teachers can also print grades using the button to the right)
  • Grade Breakdown - Shows a breakdown of different activities that affect the student's grades
  • Grading Statuses - Shows the status of completed, missing, late, excused, or overdue activities and shows the number of total assigned activities
  • Activity Score Graph - Essentially it is a statistical graph that shows your student's progress for the activities you have graded them on already. This graph can also be utilized to forecast student trends in terms of if they are going to pass or fail the class and ways to combat dips in progress so that your students are successful.

The section under the grade displays shows all of the activities that are graded. Users can use the Grade Breakdown and Grade Statuses to filter the bottom list of activities. Teachers can also select the checkbox labeled, Included Ungraded Activities to display anything that is ungraded. In this section, teachers are able to view:

  • Activity name
  • Date Assigned
  • Due Date
  • Time Spent (Only if the teacher had set a time limit on the activity)
  • Submission Date
  • Activity Status
  • Score

Teachers can also access the quick grader, C skills, comment bank, and activity notifications at the far right side of this section.
