We hope that everyone had a wonderful Independence Day weekend. Here is a list of our latest updates:



Teacher Experience


Activities

  • Saving for standards based grading is now fixed
  • Added an 'Effort Log'. Teachers will be able to see students' actions on activities such as answering a question, stopped viewing page, skipped question, etc.
  • 'Order list question type has been added. Teachers can create a list of options on the correct order and it will then be randomized on the student's end in which students must reorder those items in the correct order
  • The 'remove format' feature in the content editor now displays a popup when clicked to ask users exactly what they would like to be removed
  • Discussions - "Save for later" button now working properly. Users no longer have to unfocus the text box first
  • Pages - All questions formats are now removed except for polling
  • Pages - Pages can now be converted to a different activity type using the "Convert To..." button on the edit tab of a page


Classroom

  • New Student Alerts - Names are now sorted in order
  • New Student Alerts - Teachers are now notified when students become inactive
  • IEP/BIP/504/EL - These different student tags will now be shown to teachers in gradebook, quick grader, and submissions page
  • Homepage - 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons have been added to the Homepage as well as Student Preview
  • Gradebook - New "Message Students" action inside of score report
  • Gradebook/Students - Grade Breakdowns are now clickable to see detailed activities
  • Gradebook - Grading floor tool tip is has now been moved to student grade details
  • Gradebook - Activity dropdown now shows a grade sort from highest to lowest or lowest to highest
  • Classes - When there are no active grading terms when creating a new class, the default term will be 'Custom'
  • Classes - Sub classes are now displayed in the "View All Classes" tab
  • Setup class - "Apply Assignment Scores Immediately" is now automatic for non master classes
  • Setup class - Standards based grading has now been added
  • Setup class - Custom tabs can now be altered between v1 and v2. v1 has the tabs on the left by default and v2 will display the tabs on the top bar and have dropdowns for course materials and tools.


ePortfolios

  • Grid and list view are now added to ePortfolio collection
  • Shared folders are now moved into the shared list of ePortfolios    
  • Two editors working on an ePortfolio at the same time will no longer overwrite each other's changes


Power Search

  • Now includes user's email
  • Faculty admin can now search for all classes
  • Users are now redirected to search results when using power search



Student Experience


Classroom

  • Activities - The 'remove format' feature in the content editor now displays a popup when clicked to ask users exactly what they would like to be removed
  • Grades - Grade Breakdowns are now clickable to see detailed activities
  • Class layout - Depending on which class layout the teacher selects, students will have their class layout based off of the teachers selection between v1 and v2 layouts


ePortfolios

  • Grid and list view are now added to ePortfolio collection

Miscellaneous

  • Power Search - Users are now redirected to search results when using power search
  • Programs - A clickable link will now appear when an endeavor is completed and will take students to the completed endeavors tab
