In the student's widgets at the bottom of the Dashboard is the Flagged Activities widget. Students can flag activities to save them on their dashboard for easy access for example if a student needed to log off in the middle of working on a submission. Flagging assignments, discussions, or assessments allows users a quick way to access these activities from their dashboard.
Flag Activities
In order to flag any activity and add it to the widget, users will need to find the gray flag icon for the activity and click it so that it will turn red. There are three places to find the flag icon for activities:
- From the Modules tab of a class.
- From the activity list on the Assignment or Assessment tab.
- From the activity itself. For Assignments and Assessments, it is located in the Work/Questions tab.
Now that we have added some activities to the Flagged Activities widget, users can click on an activity from the widget and it will redirect the user to that activity and automatically remove the flag.
