Banner images are used in various places in eKadence such as homepages, pages, discussions, assignments, and assessments, and can change the look and feel of a teacher's class. Teachers have the ability to select banner images from our library of eKadence preset banners or to upload a more personal banner of their own liking.


Adding a banner image

  1. To add or edit a banner image, hover over the Insert Content button at the bottom left of the edit screen for an activity, and then select Set/Update Banner Image.
  2. From here the user will be able to see all of the presets that eKadence has already put in place for banner images. However, teachers can also Upload Custom Images with dimensions of 1920 by 250 pixels so that they can use their own banner image for classes instead of using eKadence's preset images.
     
  3. After selecting a banner, teachers will be able to see one last step before finalizing the banner image. Teachers will see different buttons they can click on to change the look or position of their banner. (From left to right) the options are Apply, Reset, Zoom Out, Zoom In, and Blend. Also, the different points on the edges and corners of the banner will allow for cropping and zooming.
